MDS Engineering provided full MEP design services for Urban Oyster, transforming a raw commercial shell into a fully functional restaurant within a mixed-use development in Baltimore, Maryland. The scope included HVAC zoning and kitchen ventilation, NEC-compliant power distribution for lighting and equipment, and plumbing systems serving the kitchen, bar, and restrooms, with all systems designed to meet IMC, IECC, and Baltimore City Plumbing Code requirements. Through close coordination with the tenant’s kitchen consultant and construction team, MDS delivered a detailed construction package supporting efficient buildout and operational readiness.
