This redevelopment project revitalizes a key site in Steelton, creating a multi-level mixed-use facility that delivers vital healthcare services while contributing to the community’s continued growth and renewal.

MDS Engineering’s Role

MDS Engineering provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services, ensuring that the facility combines modern system performance with the preservation of the building’s urban character. Our scope included:

• Efficient HVAC zoning tailored to multi-use operations

• LED lighting systems with advanced controls for energy savings and occupant comfort

• Code-compliant plumbing systems serving both residential and commercial spaces

• Seamless integration of infrastructure through collaboration and coordination with the full design team
