MDS Engineering provided full MEP design services for the Gettysburg Welcome Center, a two-story adaptive reuse project requiring new infrastructure for HVAC, power, lighting, plumbing, and solar readiness. The design included independent HVAC systems per floor, a new 200A electrical service with optional rooftop solar integration, and complete plumbing layouts serving ADA restrooms, a kitchenette, and janitorial functions. With no existing utilities on-site, MDS delivered a fully code-compliant and energy-efficient system design tailored to the building’s public mission and historic setting.
