MDS Engineering served as Electrical Engineer of Record for the Camp Harlam Solar Project, a 226.80 kWDC ground-mounted array in Polk Township, PA, designed to meet the camp’s onsite energy needs with clean, renewable power. The system features 420 solar modules, fifteen 10 kW inverters, and a utility interconnection via a 7.2kV step-down transformer—fully reviewed for code compliance, protection coordination, and DER communications. MDS delivered a robust, utility-ready electrical design that ensures long-term performance, safety, and compatibility with PPL’s distributed energy infrastructure.
