MDS Engineering provided full electrical engineering and interconnection support for the NARA I Solar Project, a 970.20 kWDC rooftop solar system developed for the National Archives and Records Administration. The system features over 2,100 panels, four Sungrow inverters, and a supply-side connection to the facility’s 480V electrical infrastructure—designed with NEC 2017 and UL 1741 SA compliance in mind. Through detailed engineering review and utility coordination, MDS delivered a high-efficiency, code-compliant solution that advances federal clean energy and sustainability goals.
