MDS Engineering provided full electrical engineering support for the NARA II Solar Project in College Park, MD—a 1.2 MWDC ground-mounted system developed for the National Archives and Records Administration. The system features 2,400 solar modules, four 250 kW inverters, and interconnection to medium-voltage infrastructure via utility-approved switchgear and step-up transformer. With a focus on code compliance, arc fault protection, and performance monitoring, MDS delivered a technically rigorous, utility-integrated solar solution supporting long-term energy resilience at this mission-critical federal facility.
